There's a Depression-Era Slogan that was "Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without". It still applies today. I always think how people tend to always want shiney and new, with some things I can see that, but what I really love are things that have been around a while, have stood the test of time. Those things have character. We have this old secretary desk that my folks bought when I was very little, it was old when they got it, and I always think it would be so cool if you could learn all the things that old desk has seen in its time here. Anyhow, I appreciate the new things now and then, but really love the old comfortable things. Here's to the usng the old things!
